ASAP Awards

Our ASAP Awards are recognition programs that aim to honor administrative professionals who have made significant contributions to their organizations. These awards celebrate the achievements of administrative professionals who go above and beyond their job responsibilities to make an impact on their workplace. Each year, we present these awards at our Administrative Professionals Conference, calling up the winner onstage to accept their award.

The ASAP Impact Award

The Impact Award is an extraordinary opportunity to be recognized for your initiative. This prestigious award celebrates an administrative professional’s achievement in completing an innovative project for their organization.

  • Have you created and carried out a project that produced real results for your company?
  • Have you created a solution that saved money or time (or both)?
  • Have you developed a breakthrough idea to reduce errors or increase productivity?
  • Has your creative thinking helped motivate your boss or team to find the best way forward on a challenging project?

Criteria:

  • Initiating and carrying out a fresh approach or creating a breakthrough to solve a problem or make an improvement of significance related to office or support operations.
  • An initiative that was completed sometime between January 2023 and May 2024. The resulting practices must be in place for at least 3 months prior to the application deadline.
  • The project must include at least two of the following: cost savings, increased efficiency or productivity, problem resolution, enhanced morale, stronger accuracy and integrity of operations, increased customer satisfaction, increased teamwork and collaboration. We are also happy to receive 1-2 testimonials from managers or colleagues about the efficacy of the project.

Who is eligible for this award?

  • Administrative and executive support professionals of all types, titles, and industries who are residents of North America are eligible to receive this award.
  • The winner must be present to receive the award and must attend the entire 2024 Administrative Professionals Conference (APC) in Aurora, CO.
  • If the winner cannot meet these terms, ASAP reserves the right to forfeit the prize and choose an alternative winner.
  • Self-nomination is allowed and encouraged!

The ASAP DEIB Award

The Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Award was created to honor and acknowledge champions in advancing DEIB at their company or in the administrative profession. Individuals and teams that have demonstrated outstanding commitment or made significant contributions to advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are considered for this award.

Criteria:

This award’s criteria allow for a variety of achievements in this space. Nominees may have:

  • Championed initiatives to increase DEIB at their companies
  • Partnered with leadership or HR to improve the DEIB of their company culture
  • Gone above and beyond to create a more inclusive, just, and welcoming environment for their teams or colleagues
  • Promoted DEIB or influenced impact in the broader administrative profession
  • Engaged in meaningful diversity activities beyond their primary responsibilities
  • Served as a role model in building a supportive workplace that fosters success and belonging for everyone
  • Enhanced support and resources for underrepresented and underserved groups
  • An initiative that was completed sometime between January 2023 and May 2024. The resulting practices must be in place for at least 3 months prior to the application deadline.

T&C (Rules, Deadlines & Prize information): 

  • The ASAP DEIB Award and The ASAP Impact Award applications and supporting document(s) must be received by August 15, 2024.
  • The initiative or project must have been developed and implemented by an administrative professionalall professionals including but not limited to the functions and titles of Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Business Administrator, Personal Assistant, Office Manager, Administrative Specialist, Office Coordinator, Chief of Staff, Executive Business Partner (and/or a related job title with similar responsibilities). The awards are open to residents of North America only.
  • If your initiative is chosen as the winning nomination, you’ll receive coach round-trip airfare (up to $500) and 3 nights of hotel accommodations, provided these are booked through the Administrative Professionals Conference’s travel agent, as well as a Complimentary Base Pass for the 2024 or 2025 Administrative Professionals Conference. The ASAP DEIB and Impact awards will be presented at the 2024 Administrative Professionals Conference during the closing Keynote session.
