Key Responsibilities: Administrative Professionals' Diverse, Demanding Roles

This snapshot of the 2024 American Society of Administrative Professionals’ State of the Profession report reveals the range of responsibilities that administrative professionals are charged with in their daily work. 

Administrative professionals’ (APs) responsibilities within the organizations they support are both expansive and varied. This data shows interesting differences between the responsibility profiles of APs who support executives and those who do not, which can be used by both APs and organizations to benchmark job descriptions prospectively and assess existing responsibility profiles.
